The Prostat QubeTM replaces expensive electrical ground circuit testers and indicators with a convenient, cost effective means to connect vital ESD controls to grounded electrical outlets. Use the Qube to ground workstations, mats, wrist strap testers, instruments, and other ESD products to an approved pre-tested facility electrical ground. It consists of a heavy duty dual banana receptacle frame encased in fire retardant ABS with a solid brass grounding pin. Some manufacturers, as well as potential clients, may not realize the need for ESD test equipment. Electrostatic damage affects thousands of manufacturers a year, costing millions of dollars. Once a charge is generated, it's easily passed from one object to another, resulting in passing of energy. Static sensitive objects are susceptible to damage and degradation stemming from this exchange.
